Pocket SCÍON Mycelium Edition
Make music with plants and mushrooms with the Pocket SCÍON - a beautiful, stand-alone instrument that allows you to collaborate with the living world. This device captures bioelectric data and translates it into sound via an onboard sound engine. A collaboration between Instruō Synthesizers and Canadian musician and biologist Modern Biology.
Anyone can create, shape and enjoy music with Pocket SCÍON, regardless of existing musical experience.
How it works
In the wild
“If a forest-dwelling wizard had keyless entry to his home, the fob would look something like this”
“Let your cactus co-write your next banger!”
“One of the most thoughtfully designed that we've seen”
“Pocket Scíon blurs the line between life, nature and music in a way no instrument has before”
