Mycoglossia, 12" LP (pre-order)

Pre-order. Shipping included to the US and Canada. Order by November 18 for delivery before Christmas.

Mycoglossia, literally ‘fungal tongues’ or ‘fungal languages’, is our exploration of the hidden worlds of fungi through poetry and sound. I fell in love with Fiona and Nina’s book of the same name, and after many live collaborations we decided to make a record! Improvised live (with bioelectric input from our resident mushroom cultures), we hope this takes you on a journey into the wonder and mystery of fungi.
- Tarun

Inspired by spores, we wanted to write poems that would ‘move’. There are many voices in these poems – some human, some fungal, and some which are both. Some poems are about a specific species, while others look more widely to the fungal world. This project continues to grow and change in an organic way – a little like fungi!
